Traffic assistant
Ask about the roads
Ask about Canada's highways and get an answer from the live data we aggregate. It only says what the sources say, names where each fact comes from, and tells you when a province is not covered. It is not navigation: it tells you what is on the road, not how to get there.
Ask about Canada’s highways. I answer from live data only.
Ask in English or French · Posez votre question en français
Answers are generated from the public sources we aggregate and may contain errors or delays. Not navigation or advice. In an emergency, call 911.
How it works
Ask the way you talk
“Is the Coquihalla open?”, “Any closures on the 401 tonight?”, “Conditions on Rogers Pass?”, “Est-ce que l'autoroute 20 est fermée?”
We check the live sources
The question goes to the same provincial 511 and city open data that feed the live map.
An answer with source and time
It answers only from that data, says which provinces it has data for, and says “I don't know” when there is nothing to go on.
The sources
The assistant answers from these public sources, the same ones behind the live map, aggregated by Roadscore. Coverage grows province by province: where a province is not connected yet, the assistant says so.
Answers are generated from public data and may contain errors or delays. Not navigation or advice. Every province answers road conditions on its own 511. In an emergency, call 911.
